Hi, I’m Maisie, the girl behind Primrose Lane!

I started Primrose Lane because I’ve always loved creating things that feel thoughtful, personal and beautifully made. I’ve always been creative, but I also loved the precision and problem-solving side of things growing up, and embroidery ended up feeling like the perfect mix of both.

For me, embroidery feels timeless and luxurious. I love that something as simple as a name, monogram or small embroidered detail can turn an everyday item into something sentimental and special.

The name Primrose Lane was inspired by the feeling I wanted the brand to have: soft, whimsical, countryside-inspired and full of charm. I want it to feel like a place people come to when they’re looking for thoughtful gifts, cosy details and handcrafted pieces that feel personal and carefully made.

Quality is incredibly important to me, so I carefully choose my fabrics, stabilisers and thread colours to make sure every piece has a beautiful finish and is made to last. I want every order to feel exciting to receive, whether it’s something for yourself or a gift for somebody else.

Everything at Primrose Lane is embroidered by me in South East Kent using my embroidery machine from my home studio. Most of my items are made to order and many can be personalised with names, initials or custom text, which means every order is created specifically for the person receiving it.

When I’m not working on Primrose Lane, I’m usually reading, walking dogs around the Kent countryside, visiting gardens and historic places, or being “helped” by my dachshund Honey, golden retriever Timmy and British Shorthair cat Pebbles (she's camera shy!), who all take their quality control duties very seriously.

My dream is to continue growing Primrose Lane slowly and thoughtfully while keeping it personal, creative and handmade at heart.

Thank you so much for supporting my small business, it genuinely means the world to me!
